When Dija loses her job as a copywriter at an advertising agency, she gets a job offer from a firm that helps newcomers integrate through cooking. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with delicious aromas and a spicy cast: Veronique, a nurse suffering from burnout; Jean, the big shy guy; Gerald, an ex-con; Johnny-Bryan, an altruist against the very idea of work; and other equally likeable, colourful characters. Led by the optimistic Chef Achour, convinced of the benefits of collective work and mutual aid, this merry band of broken souls will learn to get along together by reconciling themselves with the flavours of life.
