Words and colors from a traveling painter.
This series explores unique and original aspects of a single country through an artist's eyes.
Laura Dilé shares her stories of South Korea off the beaten path. Part I has her diving headfirst into Seoul, discovering a new language and culture. Part II recounts her work on organic farms in exchange for room and board (known as "WWOOF-ing"). From farm to farm, deep in the Korean countryside, she paints quietude, architecture, and labor in the fields, but also gastronomy, music, and traditions.
