From El Salvador to the U.S., Somalia to France, the fates of Litzi, Sahra, and Marta crisscross to tell a migrant tale of those who reach their destination, those who disappear, and the grief of exile. It is also the story of Jeremy, who falls in with a nationalist movement. From one continent to another, scattered families confront the same uncertainty: in a world where hope of a better life sometimes turns into a nightmare, what should we pass on to our children that no borders can erase?
