Curious about the circumstances surrounding her birth, Séverine decides to investigate. In 1972, her parents decided to go on the Hippie Trail with their brand new Renault 4L. They travel through various countries to reach their dream destination: Afghanistan. The journey is punctuated by misadventures, bad trips and encounters in sumptuous landscapes. In Kabul, her mother discovers she's pregnant. On the way back, her parents are arrested for possession of cannabis in Greece – then under the Regime of the Colonels. Incarcerated, Séverine's mother gives birth to her in prison! But the story of her parents escape is more incredible still...
