A spaceship with a unique crew sets out after a massive space whale to keep it from destroying planets in its wake.

A misunderstanding at the far edges of the galaxy causes the crew of a spaceship on patrol to let loose a space whale: a magnificent but gigantic creature known as the "eater of worlds." When they set out in pursuit, their adventure will take them to a hidden planet whose inhabitants live in perfect harmony with nature, as well as change the way they see the world. To catch the space whale, they must first learn to understand it.
