Can a truly free society be founded on the fringes of our own as an alternative, or is it just a pipe dream?

2025: many young people decide to move to the forest and in self-sufficient villages. Their only policies: friendship and freedom.
2061: Dan, Montana, and Judith live in a cabin with their parents. They hunt, fish, and explore the surrounding ruins. But one day, the children are abducted by dangerous poachers. When their parents decide to go looking for them, the past, present, and future of this world come to light, and into conflict with one another.
