A mysterious apocalypse strikes the Earth, sparing only a few scattered survivors at sea and on islands.

A storm forces Shanna and her brother to moor off Pointe-au-Bec. In the small isle's only inn, they find locals stunned by the announcement of a global disaster: a blue foam is invading cities, suffocating humans in its wake. No one knows what it is or where it came from.
Back home, Shanna's ex-boyfriend Noa is trying to escape the plague with other survivors ready for anything and delinquent teens who hope to take advantage of the situation.
Shanna's worry is swiftly mounting into panic: will she ever see her family again?
