Suspense, humor, and environmentalism to raise awareness of the effects of light pollution among children.

On vacation at a seaside campground, Jonas, Merlin, and Elaïa, find the lifeless bodies of migratory birds in the dunes. With help from Philomena, an ornithology student, they investigate how these poor creatures wound up there. Together, they discover that intense laser light displays from the nearby nightclub are disorienting the birds in the middle of the night, causing them to crash into buildings. Carefully planned protests force local authorities to take a stand against light pollution.
