Calling out gynecological violence, proliferating representations of the clitoris, politicizing menstrual blood, running workshops on female pleasure: updating claims that our bodies are our own, a new generation of feminists influenced by #MeToo are taking control of the female body today and instrumentalizing it to protest constant and ongoing oppression of women. This ethnographic inquiry, conducted over six years in France, Switzerland, and Belgium with feminist collectives contesting medical control over their bodies and women's sexuality, analyzes the continuities and transformations of feminism's relationship to women's bodies.
