The Carpentier twins are as close as they are different. Their attitudes toward Christmas prove no exception: one sister dreams of snow and a cottage with an open fire, the other of fine sand and refreshing cocktails. When their parents decide to offer each of them a surprise trip, Margot and Maggie pack their suitcases with only one clue: the kind of clothes they'll need. But on the day of departure, they discover their tickets have been switched. Margot finds herself en route to Lapland with a suitcase full of light dresses, while Maggie heads for the Seychelles with her snow boots on. But what if the magic of Christmas could make them enjoy things they thought they never would?
