Midsummer in the city. Margaux thinks she's all alone, but her snack of bread, butter, and chocolate leads her to discover that many people have a hand in caring for her. Through her magic microscope, she sees them bustling about: thousands of humans sowing grain, baking bread, packaging and transporting it! There's even a schoolteacher busy educating this teeming throng!
Margaux decides to thank them all by divvying up her snack into thousands of tiny shares of bread, butter, and chocolate. The next day, they each come to pick up their tiny gift! But will the birds get it first?
