Éliette, a domestic slave in Haiti, is only a child.

Eliette, a young Haitian girl, works as a maid for a middle class family. She spends her scant free time playing soccer with two other young servants, her friends Ricardo and Jean-Jackson. One day, her boss gives her a painting of a rebellious slave who lived in the 1770s. At night, he appears to Eliette and makes her understand that she is a slave herself.
