Fiercely independent, Lisa has never believed in "one true love." For her, couplehood is first and foremost a partnership, and life a series of decisions to be made.
Pragmatic, she does her best to forget her magical encounter one festive night, so she can go on unruffled with her life.
But fate proves stubborn, and when she runs into the same man a few years later, all her certaintaies are shattered. Lisa is forced to face her contradictions examining her choices and, out of necessity, other people's choices too, as well as their consequences.
