The aim of this grant for French language reference bookstores abroad is to promote the presence of French books abroad by promoting the development of a network of reference bookstores offering a rich and diversified selection of books in French and/or in one of the languages of France and committed to the development of their inventory. Projects to buy books, organize events, acquire professional tools or renovate as well as marketing and communication campaigns can be partially covered by this grant. 

Amount likely to be awarded: 70% of eligible costs for a grant of up to €15,000 annually. 

The aim of the grant is to help develop and market the inventory of French Language bookstores abroad to promote French books abroad by helping develop and replenish a network of French-language bookstores abroad, as well as to provide assistance in promoting books in French and/or one of the languages of France in international bookstores. For example, the grant could help cover the cost of acquiring books written in French or organizing events to promote works written in French. 

Amount likely to be awarded: 50% of eligible costs for a grant of up to €15,000 annually. 

The aim of the grant for training managers of French Language bookstores abroad is to help bookstores managers improve and enhance their business and focus on their role as promoters of French culture and books abroad. For example, financial assistance with educational programs or travel and accommodation costs. 

Amount likely to be awarded: up to €2,000.
