Age All Ages
Sabine Weiss, the most eminent female representative of the French humanist photography school, presents of her 200 finest photographs.

Sabine Weiss is the last representative of the post-war School of Humanist photography. Her work tells the story of an era, the story of everyday life seen through chance encounters, attitudes, and expressions. As she wandered the streets, Weiss turned her lens to those usually invisible populations – vagrants, children, and the Roma – taking pictures for her own enjoyment. Today, at 96, Weiss looks back at her long and prolific career with a selection of 200 black-and-white prints. What they all have in common is their raw emotionality. Her exceptional oeuvre, a tribute to the many people she encountered in life, expresses her humanist sensibility and a profound love of life.
