Augustin heads out on a trek on horseback through the Bulgarian forest, using a fake name. Among his travel companions is Judge Steiner, whom he plans to kill because he holds the judge responsible for the chain of events that led his brother, Karim, to become radicalized. Karim, who had been accused of terrorism, had escaped from prison to set up a terrorist attack in a Jewish school before being shot down by the police. Alternating between Karim's past and Augustin's journey, which promises to be fatal, Vincent Ollivier offers up a great and contemporary roman noir.
