Aymé lives on a farm with his mom. As he grows up, he immortalizes in photos the small variations and big changes transforming his surroundings. The landscape comes alive with new features: a railway line, a factory, a dam. Then the factory closes, the countryside empties out, and Aymé, now old, finds himself alone after his mother’s death. But curious newcomers will soon show up and shake up the landscape once more.
