The mountain is the star of every two-page spread in this book. An immutable element, it becomes a witness to the passage of time. It begins in majesty, surrounded by lush nature and diplodocuses, stegosaurs, pterosaurs. As the pages go by, the landscape evolves. Soon the dinosaurs vanish, megafauna reign and the great apes stand up on two legs. Humans appear: some hunt the mammoth, some fish in the river. In the very first city, a civilization is founded. Then it is time for dinosaurs to return… but only in movies.
