On the doorstep, something was clinging to his slipper. "Get away, you filthy animal!" But little did he know just how stubborn the kitten would prove, returning every evening. Until the man grew accustomed to its presence and waited for it before having dinner, amused by the fearful yet playful creature. Weeks go by, and the kitten grows up into a cat.
