The waters have risen. There's no sign they will ever subside. People scrape by as best they can in this new order by living on rocky outcrops or learning to "float." Faced with health issues and other potential dangers, authorities try to coerce the population into prefabricated emergency accommodation centers, threatening to revoking their rights if they do not comply. But one family refuses. Jeanne and her two sons prefer their freedom. To survive this changing world, they are ready to fight nature's ravages, but also fellow humans, capable of the worst evils.
