Inaya and her sister and spending the summer with their beloved grandmother Marthe. On the agenda: games, gardening, and the wonderful stories Marthe is so good at telling. One rainy day in May, Inaya looks on as a mudslide destroys their garden. Stricken, she loses her taste for life and withdraws into herself. A difficult year lies ahead that will mark the end of her innocence. Luckily, Marthe is there to pass down stories about women that will restore her strength and confidence in the future.
