Condemning gynecological violence, raising awareness about the clitoris, politicizing menstrual blood, running workshops on the female orgams: these are among many updated ways of reclaiming women's right to do as they wish with their own bodies. In the wake of #MeToo, a new generation of feminists is taking back their bodies, making this a means of contesting the ongoing oppression of women. This six-year ethnographic study, conducted in France, Switzerland, and Belgium with feminist collectives fighting medical control over their bodies and female sexuality, analyzes continuities and transformations in the relationship between feminists and the female body.
