Artist and photographer Marie Louise Nijsing met with over 100 women, all born in Paris and still living there to record their realities in all their diversity: social milieu, professional involvements, birthplace, lifestyle. What a feat! She soon came across incredible life stories, from the outrageous to the discreet, from enterprising and passionate women, very human encounters that left a deep impression. There's no denying her conclusion: the women of Paris are strong personalities often engaged in social activism with great esprit de corps and, above all, profoundly attached to their city of choice, Paris.
