Pyrénées-Orientales, 1976: Noël Rivière runs a family zoo and lives a solitary life until he meets Bambi, a teenage girl sneaking in daily to escape poverty and her violent brother, Martin. Moved by her resilience, Rivière offers her a job and protection, unaware that danger is closing in. When their fragile bond shatters, the characters’ most feral and primal instincts rise to the surface.
