16-year-old Marie-Maud has decided she wants to stand out, to be loved. Her transformation (in both style and attitude) is radical, and she quickly attracts the boys' attention. But the more Marie-Maud tries to meet their expectations, the more she seems to lose herself, becoming the target of insults and mockery. One day, one of her fingernails disappears.
