In the world where young Lytha and her family live, enchantments can be bound to raw clay using "magclay." When she suddenly becomes an orphan, a great clay golem becomes Lytha’s guardian (along with her temperamental pet hen). It’s not easy to find your bearings when everything is turned upside down… But with the golem’s help, the little girl slowly rediscovers joy, and a beautiful friendship grows between them.
