Emmanuel Lepage heads back to the Kerguelen Islands!

In 2022, twelve years after his first visit, Emmanuel Lepage returns to the Kerguelen Islands. Invited by the director of a research program on elephant seals, he intends to document their work and share the lives of scientists living in isolation under extreme conditions. No longer the anonymous artist he was in 2010 – his book Voyage aux îles de la Désolation is a bestseller – he is now followed by a TV crew filming a documentary. On the boat, he wonders: can he relive the magic of his first trip?
