Brasileiras is an exceptional collection of testimonies from women artists, activists for democracy, and/or victims of repression in Brazil during the 1970s under military dictatorship.

Speaking through Maryvonne Lapouge and Clelia Pisa's tape recorder, these women immerse us in the heart of the condition of women in a Brazil where social inequalities, structural racism, gender-based violence, and the colonization of women inside the country profoundly mark daily life.
